Fluvial Procession of Santo Nino 2008

The fluvial procession honoring the Santo Nino kicked off at 6am, January 19th. Witnessed by hundreds of devotees, they flocked to the pier docks and bridges to see a parade of private vessels escorting the image back to the Basilica. The vessel carrying the miraculous image started at the Ouano Wharf passing through Mactan channel and docking at the Cebu Port (Pier 1) to a receiving crowd of well wishers dancing to the beat of the Sinulog drums.
